So, I was going to pick up an Eclipse Navi unit. They announced this week they're exiting from the consumer electronics marketplace.

Would that deter you guys from buying one? Warranty / support etc?

Hard to say. I would hit them up and see if you could get soem super indept user guide from a shop from them or something. Just incase something goes wrong. Not sure if they have a different manual they send to shops or not though

I guess it really depends on how the unit does and how many probelms previous units have had. If they are normally pretty solid, I wouldn't have a problem getting one.

The unit is solid. Eclipse is awesome quality too. Just feeling out the crowd. The unit is also typically 1300$ and I guess w/ the announcement some retailers are blowing them out at more than 50% off.

Also......

Bleh. I'm so sick. Can't sleep or do much of anything right now.

I woke up at 3 and it wasn't pretty, been up since. I have no idea wtf is up. Every time I attempt to go back to bed it gets worse. I had a migraine earlier so it might be ****** w. my stomach.

Bleh, I got zero sleep tonight and feel horrible.

Already emailed boss to let him know I'm either coming in late or not at all.

that sucks, Hate nights like that.

Yea, All of the stuff I've seen from Eclipse has been really nice. But, its been a little while.

I'm sure I would still get it. Audio shops will still work on them and I would imagine provide some type of warranty work for Eclipse.

I'd think it would be fine. I've never really had much of a problem out of anything I've had. They seem to be pretty reliable.
