I ask myself this question year after year - during x-mas, new years... ugh.

about the .22...i dunno if i could pony up that much money on a plinker...i was happy with my marlin semi-auto until i went into larger calibers...i shoot guns for the practice that im going to use it in case i want/need to kill something..and some release of anger...but yeah im looking for a good new handgun...probably going to go with a 1911 again...love the accuracy of a longer barrelled pistol... and manageble power of a semi-auto

but if you're looking for practice for accuracy by learning muscle memory of shooting a rifle...a .17 hmr is much better for that purpose...little more expensive round but its much more accurate than buying a box of .22 lr

and sorry pete...the argument of buying an 325 to pose on having an m3 is a little loose...id call it more like buying a kit car that looks like a lambo...because the 325 isnt trying to look like the m3 or pose as being one
