I dunno. People buy .22LR's for the fun of it. They all do some type of mods to them.

Sometimes you have to realize that you can't afford to rock the big boy. For me? Spending 399$ on a .22LR Plinker is better than nothing.

Plus - it can be said that everyone that gets a 9mm is a beyotch and everyone should get .45's.

My Springfield is the same as Brads...his is a .40 and mine is 9mm.....different strokes for different folks.

Don't be haters!

but if you're looking for practice for accuracy by learning muscle memory of shooting a rifle...a .17 hmr is much better for that purpose...little more expensive round but its much more accurate than buying a box of .22 lr
I wouldn't even throw .17hmr out there, it's not even in the same class as .22lr, more like a replacement for .22mag. It's a LOT more accurate (or inaccurate depending on the skill of the shooter - hell, it's practically a laser) and costs about 10x as much per round. Not exactly a plinking round. It sounds like he wants an autoloader, but there's not really a reliable one out there (not even the one based on the 10/22).

probably going to go with a 1911 again...love the accuracy of a longer barrelled pistol... and manageble power of a semi-auto
Was looking at this gun last week. It felt good in the hand, but no testing of it.
