I don't feel like searching through threads....lazy.

What's the best kit for the headlight restoration? I know some folks here have done it.

Also, suggestions on engine bay cleaning? Simple Green?

 

I really like the Meguiers Headlight kit. It comes with a drill buffer, polish, UV protectant, a hand sander and wet sanding pads. Super easy to use compared to the other kits and gives flawless results.

For the engine bay, if you can, Pressure Washer with Simple Green

 

I went all out and did the 4 step wet sanding process. Used a sealant after and mine look great.

 

I used the 3M. Went easy and worked well for me.
