I reallllllly wanted an e46 M3.

My Vette experience using it as a DD was not good. I think my lack of a commute played into that considerably. The car did not like going 15-30mph at all.

I got the M3 when we 1st moved to Franklin in 2004. The only reason why I got rid of it was so that we could look at moving to a bigger house.

Ug. It's such a nice car. (e46)

Lane, you've had good luck repairing your BMW at times. I just didn't want to go down that road on the M3. I read up on extended warranties but still....I was spooked more than I was calmed by what I was reading. Even with consideration that it would be a weekend car for me. That being said, I'm hoping my car is loaded up on the truck today. WOOT.

Pix up later...I'm hoping.

My 328is has not been terrible in the maintenance department, but more so than I would like. I'm getting tired of having to fix something every couple months or so. (right now small oil leak from oil filter housing)

M3's look badass for sure, but how pimp would it be to daily a ZO6?

Thanks Alex for the info. How bad was the C5 insurance wise?

Also, commute is 37 mile one way. Goodlettsville to Cool Springs, so hopefull the C5 short commute problem won't happen for me, if that's the way I go.
