Hey Pete, super nice pickup. Had a roommate years ago that was very generous with his EVO 8. He would let me take it on dates and stuff. Super fun car. I loved it. You don't know how lucky you were to find an unmolested one. That why I wasn't even considering one for my next daily. I would assume it's impossible to find a clean un-modded one.
Thanks guys. I'm lucky to have the community to share it with. God knows most people don't give a shit. LOL
It's going to be fun. It's what I would consider to be 'not modded' in Evo terms. However, it needs some love. My buddy was a car guy, but not a huge enthusiast. All work was always done at the dealer and on time. Never raced or abused. However, things like the pink calipers & the northern looking engine bay will require a lot of attention.
It needs an updated radio too. I dont even own any CD's. I'm not sure how he DD'd a car w/ an OEM radio from 2005. At least the S2000 radio can link up to XM or iPod.

Maybe That's how he did it.
It's bigger than you think....definitely has a lot of get up and go for an 80cc bike. Especially when the throttle gets stuck open.
Don't ask me how I know already.....
