Hey Pete, super nice pickup. Had a roommate years ago that was very generous with his EVO 8. He would let me take it on dates and stuff. Super fun car. I loved it. You don't know how lucky you were to find an unmolested one. That why I wasn't even considering one for my next daily. I would assume it's impossible to find a clean un-modded one.

It's going to be fun. It's what I would consider to be 'not modded' in Evo terms. However, it needs some love. My buddy was a car guy, but not a huge enthusiast. All work was always done at the dealer and on time. Never raced or abused. However, things like the pink calipers & the northern looking engine bay will require a lot of attention.

It needs an updated radio too. I dont even own any CD's. I'm not sure how he DD'd a car w/ an OEM radio from 2005. At least the S2000 radio can link up to XM or iPod.

 

I'm going to say his drive wasn't very far. Maybe That's how he did it.

Just traded my old wheels for a Suzuki JR80 and a 200$ fishing rod/reel combo.

It's bigger than you think....definitely has a lot of get up and go for an 80cc bike. Especially when the throttle gets stuck open. Don't ask me how I know already.....
