Lol, i need to do an engine bay cleaning myself.

My new pedals came in. They look very very close to s2k pedals. Normal price was 90 +s/h, got them in a group buy for 50 shipped

I did the engine bay today. Results were so/so. It cleaned up all of the grime but doesn't have any shine. I need to find a spray that works well on all the black etc.

Headlights look great Pete. That Mothers kit, is that the one with the red powerball for the drill? As for the engine bay, I'd just spray concentrated Simple Green on everything and let it soak for a bit. Then spray it all off.

I did a 1:1 Simple Green wash and then followed up again w/ full strength in certain areas. It worked amazingly..however everything is just dull now, no dirt but dull. LOL

I want a couple levels below that used car lot shine.

It worked really really good on the S. You spray it on after you have cleaned, then you lower the hood(but not latched) and turn the motor on. You let it "cook" on for like 10 minutes, then wipe off the pooled areas.

Lasted for a good time too.

Cool. His "before" pic looks better than mine ever will. LOL This car has never had the engine detailed and was DD'd in the North. That detail spray looks good though. Might be what I need.
