Nope, never ends

I have refused to buy plasma/LCD/projection for HDTV. Instead I chose a Sony HD CRT Wega XBR which has incredible picture quality.

SED's (surface conduction electron emitter display) are based upon CRT technology where basically each pixel gets its own microscopic CRT (electron emitter).

It's gonna kick ass.

Technology will always be like this, so you either A. Don't buy something waiting for the next better thing and end up never buying anything because something better is always on the horizon or B. You accept that A. is real and just bite the bullet and make purchases.

I have a love/hate relationship with technology. More so hate right now with TVs.

Plasmas and LCDs look sexy and best when hanging on the wall, preferablly turned off.

CRTs look incredible when you're watching a program, yet archaic when turned off.

Ehh.

eh, HD quality on newer Plasmas are pretty good now. The gap in quality isn't like it used to be in picture quality.

I like to take big dumps - you know the kind that when you're done you could swear you've lost 10lbs. (but not the kind that hurt when exiting those are FTL)

I dunno bro. in the end you'll be about 300-400 from buying brand new OEM.....and only 500-600 from buying used OEM.
