-all day yesterday itchy, runny nose with sneezing over and over and over and over and over and over and over. Get home take Alka-Selzer 2 hours later - nothing. Then take 1 Claratin-D 12 hour - around 10:30 I took some Nyquil - proabably went to bed around 11:30. Slept on and off all night - now I feel like my head is full of lead - 4:30 can't arrive any sooner. Straight to bed.
I can sense the little bubbles popping all around my head like in the Bugs Bunny cartoons. Sooooo sleepy. Why the F-could'nt that stuff kick in yesterday evening/last night?

^ I can only find meaning for it as an adjective or adverb:
Etymology
First attested 1654, from Latin sub rosā, "under the rose", from sub, "under" + rosā, "rose". The rose's connotation for secrecy dates back to Greek mythology. Aphrodite gave a rose to her son Eros, the god of love; he, in turn, gave it to Harpocrates, the god of silence, to ensure that his mother's indiscretions (or those of the gods in general, in other accounts) were kept under wraps. In the Middle Ages a rose suspended from the ceiling of a council chamber pledged all present - those under the rose, that is - to secrecy.
Adjective
sub-rosa
1. Carried out secretly or confidentially
Adverb
sub rosa
1. In secret or covertly; privately or confidentially
they held the meeting sub rosa
Synonyms
* behind-the-scenes
* under-the-table
