Thought you might like a little extra light this morning

 

He "left" to go to the doctor and he waited until the bigger big wigs all left yesterday - then approached me and asked if he could leave a little early - I said o.k. - I'm hoping he's not happy here and is looking elsewhere. No one has asked me what I think of him, I think they already know. This past year (as of tomorrow) has been very trying for me at this place - I have been here for almost 14 years...

 

I can't imagine being anywhere for 14 years.

 

yeah ... you don't even want to see my resume if you're counting stops ... although, 4 of the departments I've worked with in during the past 10 years don't exist anymore ... either outsourced or relocated elsewhere.

Don't think that's my fault ... but I could develop a complex if it keeps happening.

Maybe I should start a consulting business and charge big $$$ to come in a shut down accounting functions at various companies

 

Alex, your not old enough to have worked somewhere for 14 years!!

 

My "potential" problem is that I did not finish school so moving on = same kind of work for complete strangers & get paid less or get paid less doing something completely different. Going back to school is completely out of the question. I would just say to myself "oh well, I'm just having a bad day tomorrow will be better" kinda thing, but I have been having these bad days alot lately... I've been offered the opportunity to buy more of the company, but it is looking like I won't buy anymore and probably sell what I own at this point as I am so frustrated with the recent series of events that have taken place and the complete disregard for any input from me on any level regarding anything...

 

yeah I am I'll be 36 in August.
