A couple years ago the 335 was the 330, the 328's were 325's or 323's, not even remotely the same engine.

335i is even worse...buddy of ours here in LA traded his MB C32 in for a 335i. Dark Green on an orange-y leather, no options. Relatively bone stock, he took it to Willow Springs Raceway, one of the fastest tracks in the west (read: lots of Autobahnen-type airflow). Within 10min, the engine was already in failsafe.

335i in our... ummm....errr.... testfleetinarizona... also overheats, even in spring & autumn.

So for a me to overheat a 328i, and not even flogging on it as I would a track... quite a disappointment.
They definitely have some over heating issues, I know some cars were not equipped with an oil cooler which was an issue and that seems to be something they are trying to remedy. BMW isn't one of the most reliable cars on the planet in comparison to the Japanese big 3, but then again that's why I'll have a warranty.

My quote from All State was a shit load lower than my payments with Progressive, didn't seem paying out the ass for me.

Fuel starvation/slosh affects most any vehicle on the track. From what I read on this here forum (!), the S is particularly vulnerable to that...

I used to like the 3-series before this past week, driving them; my perception of the E90-generation of 3-series has changed for the worse. There used to be a time when BMW would supremely overengineer their cars. Clearly, not anymore.

I never really liked BMW's that much to begin with, I liked the E46 M3's and I like the E90's styling, and the 335i sedan drove nice, we'll see how much I really like this 335i coupe when I get it. Once I can really spend some time in it I'll evaluate more on it. Probably, almost obviously not a good track car, but should be fun for a DD for a while until I can figure out something I really want to spend time building.

All you need to do is upgrade the oil cooler on the 335i and there shouldn't be any more overheating issues. The N54 is a badass motor. It is their first turbo engine in decades. I'm sure they will work out all the kinks.

This statement makes me want to vomit . not one piece of it, but the whole thing in it's entirety .

this is a perfect example of impulse buying.
