I just think taking the human aspect out of something like that - getting milk devalues it somehow - not to mention - just another hedging of jobs. Sure, there isn't a cow milker's union or anything, but dang we can't all sit @ a desk & do "customer service" schit all day....
although I do agree with you on the devaluing of it, the transfer to automation of things of that sort actually tend to create more jobs (although raping mom's and pops' across the world). The difference is that it creates more white-collar jobs with the development/engineering, the programming, the operating, the maintenance/repair, etc.

and there may very well be a cow-milkers union somewhere...

Sounds like Voltrons arch nemesis. Or maybe the K-Mart version of Voltron. From the planet Gexdran!

man XBL has Voltron on it - I rented the 1st 2 episodes... it is GHEY. I loved it back in the 80's but now it is hard to deal with. Most of those cartoons are still cool, but Voltron .... sheesh.

Don't ruin my cool memories of it! I'm sure it does suck if you watch it now, that's why I'm not gonna.

seriously though - the dialogue is geared towards kids with learning disabilities - I was bummed out at how bad it really is.

You've piqued my interest now, but I'm still not gonna watch it.
