For the record - I have no clue who my neighbor is other than she is hot, just got married to a guy (who I met) who is now in Afghanistan.

I mean yeah, it may take a couple of engineers to come up with the design and programming, but after that what are they needed for? You might need someone to maintain them, but it still seems like more jobs would be eliminated. The company wouldn't want to get rid of blue collar workers making less money to then replace them with white collar paychecks in the same quantity unless production & income was dramatically increased.
