mf'in firestone was afraid to take my wheels off to balance them.
first, they wouldn't do my alignment with the RE's on it b/c they were afraid to hurt them, so I take the CE's down there to at least have some sort of alignment for when I could throw the RE's on. They call me, said the alignment was done with the RE's on it, okay, cool. but they didn't balance them. wtf.
they absolutely refused to, even with my permission. said they wouldn't touch the lug nuts b/c they didn't want to have to pay for the wheels if they messed it up because stuff happens. so I pointed at a Lexus SUV on the rack and said "I guarantee you that truck costs more than my wheels, and that truck could very well fall off the lift, b/c shit happens!"
they then said that they would do it if I brought them the wheels, which would create another situation in which they could possibly **** up my wheel, just slightly less than if they took them off themselves.
so I go looking for the manager. turns out the guy getting yelled at in the first place was the service manager... even better!
stupid ****ers.
taking the wheels to them tomorrow and standing there and watching their every move to further justify their paranoia.
