Oops a sick feeling
Last Thursday my son and I took the S out for a spin. I pulled up to a local gas pump and not really paying attention I swung open the door to get out and I heard a sickening thud! I was scared to look. As I saw it, my worst fears had come true. The station had erected concrete barriers beside the pumps and I had caught the edge of one flush and the result was a 10 inch vertical indention in the driver's door of my S. I was sick!!!!!!!
I called my good friend who is a dent doctor and the S went into his shop for 4 hours on Friday. He brought her back good as new. He said had the indention been over another inch toward the end of the door he wouldn't have been able to get it out.
I learned some valuable lessons; pay attention before I open the door, maintain good friendship with the dent doctor and never purchase gas again at the station which has erected terror deterent barriers beside their pumps!
