Talk of Armageddon, however, is ridiculous scare-mongering. If financial institutions cannot make productive loans, a profit opportunity exists for someone else. This might not happen instantly, but it will happen.

i disagree as well...because that profit opportunity cant be taken advantage of without loans...and what bank is going to be able to loan out money when they're all going under from this shit

I'm not paying for their f-up - neither should you. They exercised bad practices and need to lay in the bed they made. You or I would get the shaft if we f-ed up. Oh snap I got 50k on my credit card & I have 3 kids and make about 30k a year, but I had to have that big TV & bling, son - bail me out, brotha. NOPE.

not paying for the banks f-up now may have more severe consequences down the road than if the hemmoraging was stopped now
