Default Possible Master cylinder problem...

Ok, well guys I have a post in the "under the hood" section but not getting a whole lot of support there...I have been having some really bad clutch pedal issues..it was originally sticking and getting really stiff but my clutch doesnt slip at all. I changed my fluid which was dark and greased the slave arm and clutch fork which made everything better for about two days and now it is really stiff again..it starts out soft when your driving then as you start using the clutch more it stiffens up..and I noticed today that I may have a possible master cylinder leak...I was hoping someone local could tell me if the master cylinder is supposed to look like the pictures of mine attatched..If anyone is not too busy could you take a look at my original thread..if so Im gonna order a new one, thanks guys!

mine varies like that too, but has no problem engaging.
I'm interested as to what this might be too. I've been thinking it's the master cylinder. I also think that my clutch might not have been installed properly before I bought it.

well mine is the original clutch..but still is going strong..I dont think its the clutch..I think its hydraulics..I mean my pedal gets so stiff that my leg starts cramping in traffic lol..do you happen to know if your master cylinder under the dash looks like mine in the pics...such as a leaky wet looking grease...? Not sure if its normal or not..thinking that could be the problem..

Check these fixes out and see if they might be the same symptoms.

Give the rod a look and see if it looks like those. I highly doubt it's your clutch, I've got around the same mileage on my original clutch too and not having any problems like that. (unless you're just unusually harsh on the clutch for some reason)
