It looks good from what I can see Matt. I wish someone would post a pic without any glare on the outer cover.

I'm still (more) interested in checking out the changes I proposed to you at the last Dragon meet. It's iffy whether or not just leaving all the angled "slits" in the lens unpainted would give sufficient visibility under all conditions. I'm also considering using a stronger bulb to compensate for the loss of surface area. I'm afraid the only way I'll be convinced the idea is viable is by doing a "dry run" with an extra lens before actually diving in. Maybe I'll propose the variation to Mulder and hope somebody will pick up the ball and run with it.
Interesting nobody in our area has cleared their corners. If I could just "borrow" one for a little while . . .

 

Grainger it looks like those would be real easy to pop on and off. Are they? Sure would make detailing a little easier if it's a snap.

 

Agreed. Maybe make a post in the surrounding areas and see if anyone will donate. I know Rob (RBC3) has cleared lenses I believe, maybe hell be willing to donate his.
