ill never forget a psychology class that i took where the teach (female) went on a rant about this.....She claimed women earned less due to three main factors. Less job experience, more exposure/prone to miss work due to family or maternity leave, and less education. The first and the last she tied to the second item.

It's not so much a rant as being informed and concerned, as a woman. Yes, I will take maternity leave one day. This does not give my employer the right to pay me any less. I may be out with a sick kid one day, too; this does not make me less valuable to my employer or justify paying me less. At the end of the day, if you adjust for equal degrees, equal experience, equal everything women still get paid less. There's no logical explanation except that it's because of that darn extra X chromosome.

Not offended at all! It takes much more than that to offend. I know that I come off strong on this, and I feel that is completely justified. It has nothing to do with not getting internet humor or being special
