Post whore thread
I spent 6 hours today detailing JUST the outside of my car and it looks absolutely stunning, (even if you dont like NFR). I used q-tips in between every single panel, taped off all the seams, polished the headlight. Used poorboy's SSR1.0, then Poorboy's EX-P Sealant, Poorboy's Carnauba, then Meg's NXT. Buffed the windshield, polished the tail pipes, wiped down the suspension and cleaned the calipers, waxed the door jams (yes, waxed). Thats all I can think of right now. The interior got a quick wipe down and it was vacuumed earlier this week, so it looks nice too. Just wish I had a camera with me.
Anyways, Im excited that it looks so dang good. I dont mean to brag, but it sure looks nice. Anyways, that was my Saturday, now Im watching the Vols. What did y'all do today?

burn!!!! Matt i really wish you had some pictures of your car/......ive been looking at poorboys for my car as well but am still a bit attached to zaino. How was the ease of application and the clarity of the shine?
Clarity of shine is completely unrivaled to how Ive seen my car before. Ease of application is very high, especially if you have a Porter Cable. The SSR2.5 and SSR1.0 need to be applied via a PC on speed 6 to get desired results. The EXP Sealant and Carnauba can be applied by hand, but I still like using the PC on speed 1 for more even coverage. The SSR's can be applied immediately after application, since they do not have to "cure" per se. The carnauba and sealant need to set for 5-10 minutes (until they are hazy) and then removal is just a wipe of a MF towel.
