POSTY!!!

Got my MODIFRY stuff installed. Straps are perfect. No more reaching around to hold the bar. The glove box orginizer is just as great!

Today I got someone lined up to paint all my emblems as soon as I can get them off the car. Front one is already off and that was a TOTAL PITA! I also got shin-etsu grease and two quarts of Honda MTF today. Going to use the xviper guide. Then on to the diff.

I'm also looking for someone still selling smoked sidemarkers. All I can find are clear.

Good luck on the fluid changes ... makes a good relaxing project (if you're not racing to get it done and over with).

Couple of things to keep in mind though ... XV says re-using the crushwasher is ok ... and it likely is, but they're cheap and a fresh one is a good idea. If the dealer doesn't have one (as was my case) just make sure that washer goes back on the drain plug the same way it was originally.

Another thing ... a second pair of hands is very useful to hold the bottles as you pump the fluid up into the housing, they do tend to tip over easily with the pump hose hanging out of the top ... plus, a little company to talk to while you're lying on your back under the car is never a bad thing.

I agree. The crush washer is cheap peace of mind. Is there different crush washers for the trans, diff, and oil. I knew I was forgetting something the other day. I didn't want to change it this weekend anyway hehe...

Yeah, the Diff & Tranny are slightly different sizes.

When I did mine at our last mod-day here, I also found out that the AP-1 & AP-2 have slightly different size washers for the diff drain ... the tranny is the same for both.

JEAllen had bought a can full of each to keep in his shop, but the diff washer would not fit on my '06, but was exactly the same size as the washer that came off his '02. The dealership didn't have any on hand either, so this time, I had to re-use the old one. I'll have to do my shopping a little earlier next time.
