Almost 5pm!

 

I saw a GPW and a Silverstone on the way home from work today. Both had Georgia plates and I'd never seen either before. I'm pretty sure the GPW was an '02 but since I was driving the truck I couldn't hang long enough to confirm after she passed me.

I met the Silverstone and I think it was an AP2. The GPW looked like it just came off the showroom floor - couldn't tell about the gal driving it as she had the top up.

 

Don't you hate it when they don't have the top(s) down?

 

It depends. I can remember a few instances (Indy 500 in '87, Mardi Gras) when I would have really preferred a couple of people had kept all their tops up.

But generally speaking I would have to concur.

 

I suppose there are always those exceptions when the fervor of the moment overrides some folks' understanding of "display quality" ... but then again those folks shouldn't be offended when someone breaks out the rotten fruit or paper bags.

 

Why does a timing chain have to be such a pain in the ass.

On a side note, I'd like to announce that my S is sitting happily in my new garage with the top down, while my Civic sits outside at work and takes the rain/sun/etc instead. God I love having a garage

 

I'm going to drive my car this weekend if this timing chain thing doesn't help the noise and let you all listen to it. I miss it soo much it's killing me.
