Well, this is the post whore thread! He knew exactly what he was getting himself into. My nonsense occurs, forum or not.

And yes, cadaver. I don't own cats as I am ridiculously allergic. I was hoping to get Matt's cat, which, although it is a nice cat, caused me undue misery. Same color, but definitely not Holly. My dissection cat is huge...barely fits on my handy dissection tray. Cute cat though...he was a black kitty. I'm going to dinner now, so I'm going to quit thinking about Jean Baptiste (my partner and I made our cat French....don't know why). Hope I didn't offended any of the animal lovers around here.

Well that's a relief I guess but now I'm torn:

On the one hand it seemed kind of cool that you might have done an autopsy on your own cat.

On the other hand I'll feel much more comfortable if the next time I see you you have a scalpel in your hand.

I'm cool in a myriad of other ways, I don't need to skillfully dissect my own cat to be cool. Right. Anyway, if it is any consolation to you, I would have offered up my cat if I had one in my possession to offer up. Anything for the pursuit of knowledge /nerdy intellectual. Hopefully this at least makes me somewhat cool.

Speaking of knowledge, I have a psych (gender roles.....at a women's college, no less) test on Thursday, so I need to get on the stick. Enough s2ki for now. Must study.

Personally I'd be happy with one cat in a zoo somewhere that people could come and view.

Study well! You too Matt.

Robin, Grainger, and I are counting on you guys to fund our Social Security.

Haha-I feel the exact same way. Tonight Matt is studying wings at Quaker Stake and Lube, so you should feel good about your social security fund.

The point of interest here is the technology. It's pretty obvious current suspension systems are laughable in comparison. This is going to change everything . . . .
Do you really think a suspension set up such as this is really go to revolutionize suspension dynamics as we know it? I just simply cannot imagine that this new technology is going to increase performance moreso than conventional systems of today. I mean, how much better is a car going to perform with that system as opposed to a full race set up using the most high end (or heck, even middle end), coilover systems that are on the market as we speak? The ONLY benefit I can see this being used for is high-end luxury cars that will want an adaptive "on-the-fly" suspension setup to improve the comfort level of the ride, and maybe not so much the performance aspect of things, agree?

id agree.....if it were as drastic of a performance change as stated I have a feeling some uber race team with entirely to much money would already be tracking a prototype. For a lux ride I could see it........
