Ran into Brandon at Wally world after work today. He was contemplating a new TV purchase and changing jobs. He wants to fight evel do-er's, rescue fair maidens, and learn the correct way to eat donuts from the masters.
Personally, I think he just wants his hands on a "get out of jail free" card so he can drive his S like we all want to.
Wonder if we could persuade him to eventually work for Blount County and patrol the Dragon routinely?
I lived in Myrtle for the last 8 years. The company threw me some $ to move to the mountains last August. Trust me, beach is nice, but all roads are straight and flat.
BTW - removing windshield tape is a chore. The tape comes off easy enough, but the adhesive left behind is a biatch!! Next time around, (if there is one) I will pull the black tape as slowly as possibly, bringing most of the adhesive with it. Trial and error taught me that a flat head jeweler's screwdriver under the windshield molding would pry it all off in one piece with the adhesive attached. Anyway, 2 Clay-bars, 2 bottles of goo-gone, 5 microfiber towels, and 2 hours of elbow grease only got half of it off.
Finally, I went to Walgreens, got 3 (non-scratch!!) green scrubby pads. If you slightly dampen these, they really work well. I like the look of the end result though. Jamie.
I like the look of it too, just not with the convertible top up. With it down, or with the hardtop (anyone wanna donate to my HT fund?) it looks great. I just wouldnt do it unless I had a berlina black 2k.
You scared me there. I just put the top up (I just finished this about an hour ago) and you're right to a certain extent. Good thing the top's always down!! Jamie.
