We actually have one of the 2jz owners also. They are both in Birmingham.

Wow. That's some pretty impressive plumbing voodoo. Not sure I can get my head around the why of it but dyno stats will support the logic (or not). Regardless, hat's off to the magician!

in the spirit of Matt rant thread, I have something to rant about myself....

I the last 5 years ive had a rotator cuff surgery and three back surgeries. Was given the clean bill of heath and dropped 25lbs about a year ago and have been going to the gym on a regular basis for a little over a year now. Last night I went out to play my first organized sport in about as long and what happened. Went down in the first 3 minutes of the game.

Went for the ball (soccer) pivoted and felt/heard a loud wet crunch. Apparently I wasnt the only one that heard it either....Anyway went to the Dr. this morning and sure enough, they think its a torn or severely sprained ACL. I have an appointment with my othro. tomorrow to get the offical word.

Really really really hoping its just a sprain but WTF!!?! Freaking 23 years old playing in a senior league and im the one that goes down?! Seems like i should be been a QB with the ease that I get hurt. Absolutly frustrating as hell. Anyway on a plus side, whatever ive done doesnt hurt half as bad as when i f'ed up my back. My tolerance for pain must be going up.

Anyone else torn an ACL?

Eww that sucks Kyle. Hope you get better quick. Never done anything like that to myself... just broke a bunch of bones when I was younger.

Yea, I have terrible joints as well. Ive torn my rotator cuff in my right arm playing baseball, torn my ACL, MCL, and PCL all at once in a freak accident. I can tell you right now, the knee injury hurt nowhere near as much as the rotator cuff. Although I dont know how serious your surgery shoulder was, but if you got through that alright, the ACL is a breeze. I just know I REALLY REALLY messed up my shoulder, and that right there was the worst pain I have ever been in in my life. Best of luck Kyle, hope this doesnt put a damper on Germany for you!

One of the most common skiing injuries - torn ACL. They often occur when you decelerate rapidly, followed by a sharp or sudden change in direction. Interesting is the fact that women are significantly more prone to ACL injuries than men in sports injuries.
Usually with an ACL injury you'll feel something "give" or "pop" not "crunch" and the joint will feel a little "wobbly". Hope it's not too serious dude. Luck!
I see a MRI in your near future.
