I live in the city limits, but I own just over an acer of land behind my house. I also own a 15million candle watt power handheld flashlight. Lets just say the sucker is bright. The lense is about the size of a dinner plate.
Tonight, I was shinning it into the woods behind my house, and around my property from my deck, when a neighbor from way in the back side of my property yelled "You better turn off that spotlight before I call the game warden". I ignored him and kept it on, and he kept yelling.
Now my question is, do you think that any laws permit me from using this spotlight on my property since I am technically in the city limits? I can see it being a problem if im putting it in peoples windows, but not the area I was using it. Should I just yell back and tell the guy to go to hell, or put it away before I get in trouble?
To put it into perspective.... Green area is my house / property - Red circle is the house the guy was yelling from.

I don't know about the spotlight. You must be a trouble maker. First the fence, now this.
J/K Thats pretty crazy. When I lived at the lake we'd spotlight the deer in the field in front of our house. It was cool to see. Tons of them coming out of the mountain to drink from the lake.

I'd walk over there with the light and tell him "I am the F'ing game warden you stupid putz. Then I'd show him my light - right between the eyes.
