Havent ran in 2 weeks due to both my shoes coming apart on the soles. The local running store in Cincy returned them to Asics and got me a brand new pair Ill get when I go home for no charge. I had already ran nearly 90 miles and 3.5 months on them too! That's service! Im aiming to knock out 25 miles over winter break and make January a 35 mile month!

since matt has kept everyone up to date ill do the same.....

In the last month/month and a half ive stopped smoking. Big step for me since i literally have not had a smoke in 5 weeks. When ive quit in the past ive gone from 3 or 4 a day to maybe 1 a week with friends out drinking.....now none. Definitly feel better too. The other thing that has helped is a severe cut back in beer.

Those things aside ive dropped nearly the entire 15lbs in the last couple of weeks. We think its due to an unknown illness but its still unknown at this point. Again mad props to matt for keeping up the commitment!

Great work man! Outstanding for quitting smoking! I wont praise the lack of beer as much seeing as that's a food group in of itself.

I love Vernors when Im sick. Kroger carries it in the cans or 2ltr. To me, it taste a bit different (not as strong) after Schweppes purchased them, but still good.

I have lost a total of 25lbs since last Sept. Started at 200 and now at 175.

Now that I am at a better weight, In the last week I have changed my routine, slowing down the Cardio, and upping the weight's.

Matt, I wouldnt mind getting into some sort of event with you in the spring, maybe I need to set a new goal.

That'd be awesome Chris! A 5k would be fun to do and it's really not that demanding whatsoever. 3.1 miles goes by in 30min even with some walking breaks.
