Is there anything I should do to prepare the car for the Dragon? I just got the oil changed 1000 miles ago. Jake has me scared to death about the brake fluid boiling over and losing pedal pressure. What else should I worry about? My tires look pretty good still. About 10k on them and no real burn outs.

What will I need to do to the car when I get back, assuming all goes well?

Things I've done so far: changed the oil not too long ago, changed the diff fluid, changed the trans fluid, gotten a better alignment than I had (it was way out apparently anyway). Washed too.

Things left to do this week: change brake pads and brake fluid, change clutch fluid, hopefully squeeze in changing coolant too.

Most of these things are regular maintainance items that most people usually keep up on anyway. But I get lazy and need something to motivate me to get it together.

BTW I didn't do any of these things the first time I went but I didn't drive real aggressively either as I was still pretty new to the car. Hopefully I can get a little quicker this time. So, just depends on if you're planning a "spirited" drive and if you are more on top of your maintainance than I am.

I have pretty new front brakes, tranny fluid was changed before winter along with oil, and the diff will be changed Wed *fingers crossed) along with a new front seal. I may see how much it will be to change brake fluid while it's there.

How much Cash are you guys gonna bring?

I was going to put on my Cobalt pads but with the threat of a wet weekend the last thing I want to do is spend a week scraping caustic grime off my wheels.
