Default 30k Mile Service

Anyone do the 30k mile service?

Gunn $390
Benson $380
Gillman $290

Obviously Gillman is cheapest, so I would go there. Anyway, it is always annoying to me that 95% of these services are "inspect". I am thinking about getting an oil change, rear differential service and be done with it.

Any thoughts?

I'd also have the brake fluid changed... Put in a new air filter, as well...

That should really be it, aside from what you already mentioned.

Just do it your self.
Per the disruction manual
Change the oil, check tire inflation and condition, replace oil filter, inspect the brake pads/calipers for wear and damage leaks and what not, check parking break adjustment, Inspect suspension components, inspect tie rod ends, change the tranny, diff and brake fluids with recomemended fluilds, I would use the Valvoline dot3/4 synthetic stuff works good and is cheap. replace air cleaner.
Thats about everything. also check your owners manual and it will tell you what needs to be done. It takes about an hour to do most of it and check the how to's onthe site for good info on the tranny and diff fluid changes. If you want some help shoot me a pm and I will see what I can do.
