Anyone?
I'm looking to buy a car that seems to be in great shape located in the San Antonio area. I live nowhere near San Antonio though and was hoping someone would be interested to check the car out (or someone who already has) and let me know what they think before i would make the long haul to buy.
Thanks

It seems like a great deal, I've been in touch with the guy, and mostly everything seems to check out. Just would like to get a second opinion of someone who actually can see it in person.
This looks to be very close to me. I could drop by and check it out later today. I work tomorrow, so it would have to be today or tuesday. Let me know if I can go look at it for you today and I'll get it done. I'm not a mechanical genius, but I know enough to do the basics and have an eye for detail. I'm also very good at spotting bad body work. PM me your number and we can communicate through texts so it's quicker.
He is taking it to a Honda dealership tomorrow to have frame, engine, steering, etc checked out so don't worry too much about all the mechanical stuff. But I would greatly appreciate it if you would drop by today and just give me your opinion on it. Body, interior, and everything seem to be in great shape, just want really make sure.
I'll pm you with my cell number if you could give me a call.
Thanks

Even though he says every panel is original, he is lying...

That is a DOT-approved replacement front bumper. I also do not see a VIN sticker on the 'tab' on the driver's side of the front bumper, near the radiator.
Otherwise, is it a very clean looking car, but I would beware if there is an obvious lie like that if he could be hiding anything else.

The drivers side actually did have a VIN sticker, but the passenger side did not. All other body panels had a VIN sticker that matched. There was a lot of paint and bondo work on the passenger side. It really looked like a pretty decent job, but anyone that new what they where looking for would have no problem picking it up.

I don't know all of the rules, or how much can be done but I submitted a report to the moderator on the original add. I'm pretty sure there are rules against commercial car sales on the forum, and there should be something done about the misrepresentation in the add.
Oh, I was just saying the bumper cover didn't appear to have a VIN stickere, and appeared to be a DOT-approved repair part.
It has clearly been in some sort of a collision to necessitate replacement of the bumper cover. But I agree. What a scammer.

Just wanted to say thanks again to CBRdream21. He went to take a look at the car for me today and as I suspected it was too good of a deal to be true. From info I am pulling in is that he is taking in cars that he buys from wherever, fixing them up himself in his garage, and the reselling them. His pictures looked perfect! But photoshop can work wonders, and in real life when CBRdream checked the car out it was far from what he said. Beware of S to K. And a special thanks to CBRdream21 for doing a complete stranger looking to get into his first S2000, a HUGE, HUGE favor!
