I'm going to be coming out to Texas for a holiday next April and wanted to introduce myself and get to know the scene in the Austin Area.

I'm going to be visiting friends in Round Rock nr Austin and would like to come to a meet whilst i'm out there (if there are any) so i can see what sort of things you do to your cars and hopefully buy some bits while i'm out there ( At $2 to the

What you want to do while here is rent a car with GPS that has some good handling and drive the roads west of Austin. You can ask about Lime Creek Road, Hamilton Pool Road, etc. These are roads that are twisty and scenic. You can get plenty of help on both forums.
