I don't quite figure how you "lose 20%" and sell the car @ $26K. That's assuming one paid MSRP for an '05 S2000 - and if I recall that seldom happens. Realistically Most were paying $30,400-$30,600 for '05 S2000's. You yourself paid $30,434. Given that logic you should save 20% of what you could've/should've been buying an S2000 for ($30,434-20% - $6,086 = $24,348) so $26K is a bit High. Especially since you're not offering any kind of extended warranty like HondaCare or a CPO warranty.
Avg. Retail for 2005 S2000's is somewhere between $25.5K and $27K if they are certified. $24K is above avg. Trade in on a Avg. Mile S2000. With 13.5K miles reasonable trade is somewhere around $22K-$23.5K. Reasonably Private sale should be somewhere around $24.5K-$25K.

p.s. If you take the trouble to photochop your plates, you shouldn't post your VIN either.

I paid SALES TAX+TTL on my car so my drive out price was $32k. 80% of that is $26k. Do a search on autotrader or cars.com and you'll find dealers asking $27k+.
There's still 2 yrs of factory warranty left AND i had Lute Riley Honda do a used car inspection yesterday. So prove to me that your 'certified used car' title is any better....

Anyone asking over $27K on a S2000 doesn't expect to get it. Since the last two 2005's we had sold for less than $26K (10K miles & 16K miles) CPO is not necessarily better - but if you're going to ask nearly retail for a preowned car there should be some benefit to them besides "2 years of warranty left." If you're going to use that as a selling point, then know that the same vehicle can be found at a Honda dealer Certified with a 3 year/36K bumper to bumper warranty + a 7/100K powertrain for what you are asking.

Again TTL shouldn't be considered part of a vehicle;s value, since whomever buys your car also has to pay TTL again anyway.

Yeah, the Certified Pre-Owned Program is worthless in value.

Plus, all Honda Certified Used Cars come with a 7-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty and a 12-month/12,000-mile non-powertrain warranty. Dependability, quality and value. Make the smart choice, and find a Certified Honda that's right for you.
As for you trying to recoup the money you spent on TTL, that's nuts. You cannot valuate the car with that figured in. Especially seeing that the buyer will have to pay taxes on the car in order to register it.
