Learning to drive stick on an s2k? I can't say I would recommend it, but your car = your choice. Welcome

Welcome....I would definately start on something a bit more subtle to learn...you don't want to burn the clutch on these cars as it is not cheap to replace. Welcome to the boards and post some pics when you get the car.

Just had a stage2 put in, after install i was out 1000.00 even. Welcome btw.
If you're bored tonight, there is a meet around 945pm at the Alamo Draft house up 410 by San Pedro ave. There are usually a couple s2k's mixed in. Check the central section for the Wednesday Night Meet for the info.

Welcome to the boards and s2k ownership. Learning on an S2000 shouldn't be bad. The gearing isn't that short, the clutch has a nice light feel to it, and the shifting is insanely smooth and positive; just don't go gunning for it with the throttle. The damage doesn't seem all that bad on that s2k. Front bumper and fenders are easy to replace but has there been suspension damage?
