Glad the tip worked out Blake. Made my life a lot easier. The mounting of fan is a great bolt on design from Honda.

I bought some Carbon Fiber Brake inserts because I do not like the holes. This will clean up the bumper cut outs and provide fresh air to the filter element.

So far I'm happy with my setup. Sounds really good and do not forsee a problem with rain.

I had an AEM CAI on my VTEC Del Sol and never had a problem with 4 years of ownership. Of course I never drove mine through deep water. I'm not that stupid.

Yes, I have collected about five of them. Although the dyno charts look pretty much the same, I am still not convinced that the same power profile is what you get when you are moving.

Good deal Blake, I thought you would like the sound-- it's pretty loud.

I'm still planning to get the Injen CAI as well. How is the sound while driving around with the top up?

I haven't actually heard it top down yet...only top up, and its fine. It sounds just like the engine normally does, just deeper and louder. Below about 4k it is pretty unnoticable. I'd give ya a ride, but like I said, I'm in Fort Worth till mid-jan. And I'm sure you get quite a bit more power when moving, cause since the Injen is tucked behind the bumper, if the brake duct is cut out, it works like a big airbox. So I'm pretty sure there's a bit of a ram air effect going on, possibly more than the AEM, since the AEM is much closer to the duct.
