Default Major wreck

If anybody saw a smashed S2K on Mopac last Monday, it was probably me.

Can anybody recommend a good body shop in Austin that hopefully has extensive S2K experience?

The damage is pretty major. I was going 65 on the wet roads and it spun around 180 and smashed a guard rail. The entire rear is pretty much gone. bumper just flat fell off.

Berli's in fact looked at it and would not take it since the damage was so major and they said they didn't have that deep knowledge on S2000s. First Texas Honda said go to Continental Cars.

thanks.

Sorry. Bummer. I'll bet you are feeling terrible but we've all had our day with one car or another. It'll pass...

Tires, milage and air temp please? Oh, I'm sure someone would like to know your age too.

Try Jeff's Auto Body and Repair @ 452-3373. They appear to have extensive knowledge of S2000s. Mine will be there on Monday.

Flava, glad you're ok!

Who I would recommend depends largely on how picky you are. If you're not over the top anal, I'd recommend Jeff's Auto Body in Austin on N. Lamar.

If you're absolutely anal the way I am, it's a distance to ship, but Body Werks Auto in Skokie, IL did a gorgeous job on my car not once, but twice! Larry does impeccable work, and I'll do it again if I get any damage more than the usual scrapes and dings.

Good luck!

I too highly recommend Jeffs...

BUUUUTTTTT:::: They are SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOW. You'll need a spare car for like 1.5-2months. Good work, slow work.

Thanks for the recommendations. I got lucky and walked out of there with just a bruise on the head.
