might be moving to austin!
hey guys, my names james. currently, i live in little rock, AR. my gf has the oppurtunity to take a regional job for whole foods, located in austin.
we're looking for suggestions for things such as apartment complex's, what area's to avoid, which areas are safe...ect. if you guys can offer any suggestions for us, that would be great! our price range for housing is about 650 a month or so, and i would (obviously) like to have covered/indoor parking for the S.
thanks
james

its been around 5 to 6 years since i lived in austin, but the I think the far west area between mopac and hwy 360 is a really great, safe, and affordable region to live! I have alot of friends that live in that area and they love it!
I used to live around westlake and hwy 360 it was pretty pricey, but a great area!!
Hopefully some people actually living in austin can be more helpful!
Whole Foods is a great company! I wish both of you the best of luck!
You'll Love Texas! Especially Austin!
Welcome Welcome!!

Since I'm a Realtor, I'm not legally permitted to point you in one direction of town or another, but I can tell you that finding covered or garage parking for your car as well as housing for $650 will be difficult, if not impossible, to find

Welcome, and be prepared to either increase your housing budget or lower your standards. Austin is the most expensive major city in TX, and for good reason!
