Next Austin Group Drive
Pick your poison guys and Steve and I will coordinate the next drive. Poll will close by Tuesday and a thread will be created for the group drive. I hope we can get a good turnout and good weather this time!!!
We'll take the route proposed by Steve - 1431 and 183 in cedar park is the starting pojnt, and we'll head out to marble falls, then take some twisties and head back to cedar park.

Any confirmation on meeting time and length of the drive? (sorry if it was posted in here somewhere, the thread is getting messy)
Saturday evening is going to be busy and it takes several hours to be assimilated (Borg for Halloween again).
I'd love to make a run since we were rained out last weekend. Unfortunately for the other dates I'm attending the Fall Colors run into the Ozarks on the 6th and the North Texas Auto-X on the 13th. We need a long trip out towards Leakey when the colors begin to turn.

Looks like this Saturday is out - good chance of more rain.
svann, the drive we are organizing will be in the 2-3 hour range, including a pit stop in Marble Falls. [If so desired]
I may be doing a long road trip towards Leakey Nov 26-28th.
[Will need to get away from the visiting in-laws!]

Gotta love Texas weather in the Fall, The Tropical Version! I may not be able to participate in the first half of November due to some other S2K activities but I'd be happy to lend a hand in the planning. I have plenty of mapped routes used over the years, all very good drives in the local Hill Country. I'll bring some info to the Austin Happy Hour or some other event in the near future.
