Default Powdercoating

I have to replace my tires in the future, and i was thinking while i have them off, i should powdercoat them. I was looking for black aftermarket rims, but after much consideration i have concluded that the stock rims are just too good to trade off for some aftermarket ones. (high price also) So i was wondering if anyone knows a shop around here that would put on my new tires and powder coat my tires black.

Thanks

Your tires are already black - if you want to go through the trouble and expense of powder-coating, wouldn't you want a different color? I'd expect that the paint would really hurt the tires' grip, though!

hey guys, i recently heard of a the powdercoater that most custom bike builders use. i did alot of research last time i did some work, went to the best recomended at the time and was not happy with their work. it was strip masters. i picked them because they said they used a chem process to strip and i was getting a valve cover done. well they used some sort of medium like sand and it took me about an hour of high pressure air to feel comfortable to mount on my engine. anyway, i will try to get this new company contact info soon.
