Arrow Soon to be owner

I recently started looking into buying a s2000. I was leaning towards a s2000 between 00-02. I'm almost postive that I will be purchasing one but before I do any decesions I was just wondering. Do any of the s2000 have different models. Because Ive been searching and I do see some s2000 with a front lip stock and other s2000 without a front lip stock. I have also seen different s2000 with radio and shift knob differences. Im not to sure if this is the right place to be posting this but if anyone could give me any insight into the different models types etc. for s2000 between 00-02. (I was thinking about a black exterior with the red Interior)

As I recall the '04 model was when the front bumper was significantly modified. The front lip was never stock to my knowledge. There have been interior and radio differences in the years you mention.

'00 and '01 were almost identical to one another.... '02 and '03 again were almost identical to one another....

The '02+ models got the glass rear window....
The '00-01 models had a silver shift knob...
The '02+ models got a silver shift knob with leather wrap around the middle of it.

All models had a front chin spoiler, side strakes, and rear spoiler available as a dealer-installed option.... The same goes for hard tops, etc..

Hopefully this helps... There are no 'special' options available for S2000's and there were not multiple trim levels introduced. They're all pretty much loaded from the factory with power windows, electric top, keyless entry, cruise control, etc, etc...

Hope this helps.

and don't worry, they all have a secret compartment ... so it really doesn't matter which one you get !!

Ahhhh... come on. A clock in the radio is a world of difference! (just kidding, but it sure is nice to have one now when I didn't before in the '00)

GOOD CHOICE IM GOING ON MY THIRD S2K AND I LOVE THEM ALL.
00-01 IDENTICAL AND PLASTIC WINDOW IN REAR
02-PRESENT TIME THEY ALL HAVE THE GLASS WINDOW ON THE REAR THAT MAKES A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE FROM THE PLASTIC ONE.
06 HAVE SPEAKERS IN THE ROLL BARS AND STABILITY ASSIST BAR WHICH IT IS HELPFULL WHEN YOU ARE GOING ON CURVES. AS FAR AS THE COLORS THEY HAVE A BEAUTIFUL LAGUNA BLUE FOR 06. I DONT THINK THAT YOU ARE GOING TO FIND A BLACK EXTERIOR WITH RED INTERIOR UNLESS IS CUSTOM. WELL GOOD LUCK AND KEEP US POSTED .

I actually have found a couple of s2k's that are black with red interior. I'm mainly just wanting on my civic to get out of the honda dealership (from repairs) so that I can just trade it in and pay the difference for a s2k. I should be receiving my car back hopefully within the next two weeks but who knows, its already been a month since they have had it. The only other problem is that even though the s2000 i find have pretty low milage (55,000) they are kind of pricey...19g

I don't care what year it is, the OEM head unit sucks! You can install an Alpine w/ clock in any year.

Black with red interior is not custom...it comes like that from factory in the AP1 models....which was my top choice...but got a GPW with REd/Black....
