Thumbs down random question

so, ive found someone to do a trade + cash for my itbs, i have had them for sale for quite a while.

anyway the deal is i get a comptech 4-1 header, a mugen test pipe (i didnt know they made those) and a k&n fipk. plus cash

i already have a spugen 2.5'' single and a aem cold air intake

my questions are as follows:

1. the k&n is the better intake to install yes?
2. with the header and test pipe *on auto x weekends* will it make a difference at all? or just butt dyno?
3. noah wont stop HARPING about the t1r v3, its a 70mm and yah... pretty loud, isnt 2.5'' between a 63mm and 70mm anyway? *i have read all the arguments about power adders with the diff sized exhuasts*

4. this one is a shot in the dark but is it really worth getting the ap1 intake cam? i have a 04 which will have all these mods in the next 2 weeks.

thanks everyone, but doing the math i want to go to henderson performance and dyno my car. i saw the other silverstone that dynoed at 200hp with an intake only. maybe 215-220 for me? test pipe and all?

thanks again
victor

its funny how Noah raves about the T1R V3 70mm when he has never owned one and I am the one who told him about it and its not bad for NA

A comptech header is worth about 400 bucks..mugen TP is about 120 the most and KN FIPK is about 175-200 so in actually its not a bad way to add some quality pieces to the mix.

The exhaust you have is fine. FIPK is the best intake to do IMO. Mugen test pipe well...a test pipe is a test pipe. the comptech header is a well made header and one of the best out there...

All in all your car will not feel that much of a difference down low but you will get better butt dyno feel and free flowing feel to your car. even more so if you get it tuned...even it being NA...

I know i did not have it. i had the 63mm, so i'm sure the 70mm is alot better.

and i didn't know you had an fipk either?

A bigger exhaust will cause you to sacrifice some low end power due to the exhaust velocity slowing down.

Also, 70mm is basically 2.75"
