Default upgrade path

hey new to this board, but have some questions.

My previous car was WRX and had a lot of work done to it i.e full exhaust, Intake, computer and dyno tuned by Trey Cobb.

I recently bought a 2002 S2000 and am wondering how to start to mod it.

Let me just say that I love my S, but I would love to up the perfomance.

I have heard of the test pipe and CIA. All of which I am going to do, but short of FI what else gives the bang for the money that I am used to in the WRX!

What are my options?

Save your money on the cold air intake, unless you want to spend $300 for almost no gains. Try searching in here but just to help you out, get a T1R 70mm single exhaust and test pipe, and J's header. Should be good for 20whp. Remember that this car isnt like the wrx where every mod helps. There are sooo many products for the S2000 that will not give you any horsepower or make you lose power.

Here's your problem. your S 2000 is already doing about all it can do in NA form. And if you go FI, you risk burning out everything from the clutch to the rear. The intake, however, could use a little work, and it won't cost much, to get a little more pre-VTEC response. Do a search on this board for the "dolebludger mod" and you will see my suggestion for what a couple of hundred bucks can do for both power and fuel efficiency.

Honestly, spend your hard-earned $$ on some professional driving (i.e., track time) lessons. In my humble opinion, the greatest variable is the driver and it's the most fun to upgrade and will (hopefully) last longer than your car.

FI, or gears anything else and you won't notice much for your money.
