Default spottering

i took my car to scott i had a weired spottering noise from the exust, but the engine was running fine there was no check engine lights from the computer. i researched it from top to bottom , but i could not solve the problem.I asked scott if he could ajust the valve springs on the car , because that was the last thing that was done on it. He called me and told me that he ajusted the valve springs but the spottering was still there. He said i have never heard one like this, and he said i will figure it out, it was less then a week, when he told me,its your coil boots, so I installed new coil boots, car runs great! he is very reasonable on the price and i am greatfull and very satisfied with the job that he did on my car.[/

(nsx)blaine- recomended scott (HNA automotive)to me as a knowledgeable honda an acura technitian and takes great care of the cars that he works on.

damn! beat me to it! I took my car to HnA, for what turned out to be a blown head gasket, and he was very good and did a hell of a good job. I definitely recommend him to anyone in the forum for good work at a fair price.

Dude im having the same issue on my car. i just got it back from the dealer. They replaced the valve cover gasket and now its sputtering at low rpm's and spudders when you try to take off. I pulled the coil furthest from the firewall and there is oil at the bottom of the coil pack and around the spark plug. My guess thats the issue and theyt didnt sit the valve cover correctly. Its going back to the dealer on Monday.

Mine had no oil on the plugs,
mine would start sputtering on the second temp bar start up was ok,
if car was driven for 30 min or more issuse would not continue,
