I was including the price of the S2K also.

So.... $33K + $10K = $43K

You could get a tuned Supra for $43K.

Like I said, this is no Speedcraft kit, and they should be able to hit mid 11's no problem.

Find me a Supra that'll last longer than 2 months that costs 43k and can pull better than mid 11's.

You are going to need more than likely over 500hp to do mid 11s. Good luck, hope you didn't want your warranty, clutch, etc

Couldn't find a Supra with a price, but found some that did low 12s with almost 500hp.

Are you going to replace your stock ECU?

I'd like to check it out when you are done.

You're wrong about that. I have a friend in class that has a white turbo Integra with white rims. It spent about 6 months in the shop being tuned up in Dallas. Forgot the name of it. It puts out more than 500hp, and easily pulls mid 11's. All this with LS gears on street tires.

Sorry, I was a bit off. ChrisD can pull 12.5's with a 2.2 60ft time on street tires. And this spinning through two or three gears. So he should be able to hit low 12's, that on 320 RWHP. It very possible a 400hp S2K can hit mid to low 11's depending on his tires.

So 43k 500HP supra that runs low 12's or a 43k S2K that runs low 12's on 320hp...

There are any number of Supras around the state that can surpass that, and they are built to last at high boost. Their engines are built much stronger than ours, and the same for their trannies and rears. And, the high speed handling on a race track is fabulous, without any of the bad behavior we live with.

And the car is - thank god - not a drag racer. It's a real car, not single purpose.

still though drop top 4 banger in the 11's..

could spend all the $ on a used z06 and be in the 11's w/ a few bucks on tires.. whats the point of that arguement?

actually could build a 11 second car a hell of alot cheaper.. then a supra or s2k.. the point being its been done, serveral times.. the s2k w/ this kinda power isn't out there, yet. at least no ones come forward w/ 11 sec or even low 12 slips yet.
