Default Vortech kit

I've been doing a lil seaching and have not found a solid answer. With the vortech kit is it a bolt and go kit or bolt and must get tuned kit.

I'd run like hell from Vortech. Their customer service is terrible, and unless you get an AEM box to run with it, it probably won't run right. If you don't believe me, ask Chris S, who had one and got so disgusted with it that he pulled it off, went back to NA, and sold the kit rather than deal with it anymore.

IMHO if I we're going the supercharged route I would go w/ the CTSC. Comptech if focused on mainly Honda/Acura performance parts, so...you know you're getting a good reliable product. I'm sure Mr.Grand Prix can vouch for them lol!

Yes, he goes by Stantaur. Doesn't post here much; posts much more at S2KCA. He doesn't come out much and isn't much into showing off (i.e.: he's not a street racer/ricer), but he's usually at the autocrosses. He's got a big turbo on it now and has about 400hp. And before you guys get too excited about it, done right (read: so that it will last and won't blow up), it's a pretty expensive proposition, takes a LONG time, and you can't take any half-measures if you go this route. He did it all right and has a pretty gnarly little beast to show for it.

Calm down Sondra..people do know the responsibilties that come with building something and everyone knows that I am one to be patient when it comes to planning things. So no ricer antics here even though I love to have fun still.

Yeah, no offense to you. I don't really comment much, but I feel that everytime you post on "our" site as you seem to make it, you feel the need to say some snide comment about street racing or ricers, etc. I can tell you that I have been on this board for 2 years and another board for over 4 and I have never once participated in a street racing group. There are maybe 1 or 2 people that actually have posted about street racing in this section and I feel very offended everytime you say everyone in this section likes to street race.

And before you go saying crap about young people I am 25, married, have two well maintained vehicles and just bought a house...so I don't want to hear the responisbilities speech either.
