I didn't mean to offend anyone, just wanted to be clear that what he did wasnt easy or inexpensive. I know that seeing someone elses S do that kind of thing will sometimes inspire some of the newer or less funded (like myself) to go a riskier route to try to achieve the same goals, and I dont want to see anyone here make that mistake. I had an S owning roommate who tried to get lots of bang for as little buck as possible, and he blew his engine. Again, not trying to condescend and I'm sorry if it was taken that way, just trying to keep expectations realistic.

[QUOTE=JustinC,Feb 22 2008, 02:08 PM] Yeah, no offense to you. I don't really comment much, but I feel that everytime you post on "our" site as you seem to make it, you feel the need to say some snide comment about street racing or ricers, etc.

Thanks for the mention. Yes, I'm kinda low-key. Most people don't notice the cars I do since they look very factory / skunkworks. If you click on the links in the signature you can see some of the pics of the build. It's not a big numbers GT35, it's a GT3076R. Instead, it's made to spool quickly and be fun on the auto-x course or street. Fun enough for me -- trapped 122.6 MPH in the 1/4 this weekend with a soft 2000 RPM launch/bog/spin (2.44 60 ft) at SAR. Will put a better diff in it so I can try launching ~ 3K.

HUGE credit to the guys at JC AutoSpec for getting everything together. Amazing attention to detail.

Best,
Stanford

very nice S. It's cars like these that make me wish I still owned mine.
