We're Back!
From as far as Muir Woods and Camp Pendelton...
Along HWY 1, Ortega HWY, Angeles Crest...
And even Laguna Seca...
4,238 miles...
165 hours...
Averaging 25.68 miles an hour (over the course of the hours we were gone from Austin which also includes sleep time),
John David and I are finally back!
Pictures, and stories to share soon... very soon. But for now, I gotta get some sleep!

Randy,
Great pics, I am embarassed to say it but you've seen more of California than I have and I have lived here most of my adult life (20 years+). You could always join Team Irvine if you like to see more scenery like your pics because we strive to explore these roads as often as we can.

Application? What do you think we are S2KCA? No, just say that you are interested and we would make you guys honorary members and try to get you on the roster for email announcements for meets and drives. We exploit this forum to the fullest hence no membership fees. Just a bunch of car nuts and computer geeks with no life and or girlfriends. Even only our cars had vaginas. Hmmm, interesting....

I think I heard Mike say that to be an official member of team Irvine you have to have a speeding ticket (I think I have that covered). Thankfully I only received one speeding ticket in the 4300 mile journey and that was from a narcotics officer ---
. It is a long story... for a minute there I thought he was going to search my car because Randy was weasing from the cedar in the air and I got the impression that he wanted to get his dog out and sniff my car, but he just wrote me a ticket and told me to keep it at 10 over... no more.
If you guys plan on hitting 191 let us Texans know... we (at least I) will be there!
