Im so Glad everyone is on the same team now! :-D

And as for the cats I really dont thing one car is going to make a differenece on are envorment theres plenty of other things that cause alot more pollution like Jet liners, Motor Bikes, Desiel Trucks, 18 wheelers etc. ANd Ive been pulled over In my GSX without a Cat, And you can tell that thing has no cat, all the cop said is "you car smells funny" and I just laughed it off. I guess for a turbo car though it gets alot more hp for no cat then the s2k so I could understand not to have one on the s2k for the pollution to hp ratio but for alot of other cars it does a bit more. Plus were not even going to have gas powered cars in 50 years most liky so enjoy your good old fastion no cat pollution now while you can.

While jets and diesel trucks APPEAR to be polluting more, their exhaust is primarily just particulates that eventually will settle out of the air... They are actually quite efficient. Granted, a jet on the ground is not efficient, as a turbojet engine will burn as much fuel at 'idle' at the end of the runway as it will at normal cruise (>500knots) at 34,000ft.

I'd be pretty damn excited if smoking was illegal, too! The bars in Austin are so much more pleasant after the smoking ban went into effect, and I'd be happy never to take another breath of secondhand smoke.

Sorry, David, but now that the thread is thoroughly hijacked, may I suggest that the question of test pipes (and other stuff) is being considered in detail here?

Personally, I agree with sable about the stroker kit: isn't better to be badass than just sound like it?

Yeah, but where are you going to find a stroker kit for $500 installed? I assume he left off a zero on the pricetag?

test pipe did good gains. I had a passenger, a cooler, and top down...my opponent was a 2001 with no passenger and no spare tire with top down. I put 2-3 car lengths on him from a 40 roll with a invidia crapback, invidia testpipe, k and N filter, gutted air box, and snorkal.

Shriker dont believe peeps when they tell you get no hp with mods on the s2k, i got a nice amount from what i did and it was CHEAP i spent less than 1,000 and got maybe 15hp...i sounded good, and looked decent.

I think he meant 500 more than the the exhaust, not 500 total. Admittedly, still a fantasy, but closer.

David, glad you're enjoying it.

Having the top down seriously affects the acceleration of these cars (also really kills gas mileage on the highway, too).
