Well today on my way into Houston. I saw them, 55 mph signs turned the other way, but I guess it's close. Heard on the radio they were putting them up in N. Houston first 290 and some others. They didnt say anything about I-45. I'm totaly bummed. Someone do something this can't be happening!!!!!!

Yeah, the light board traffic condition signs on 290 said "New Speed Limits Posted This Week".

 

As if it really mattered while driving in your Insight.

People on 45 North seemed to be doubling the 55. Got passed doing 102 by a pickup on the way home. Passed him doing about 90 and I guess he decided to show me how to drive. He didn't slow down when he hit traffic, just weaved through it. I just let him go.

The signs were up, but very few people were doing under 80. Saw cops in the morning, but none last night.
