Its easy to lose track of your expenses when you track your car and old bmw's are notorious for that.

psh, even when you dont track the car you lose sense of your money..

in my 635csi for example..ive probably put 6k+ into the damn car.(over time)
sadly if i sold it id only get 2-3k max.

but its just how the old bmws are..
although it seems like their engines just keep chugging along.
im at 161k

im gonna have to have repair money set aside to heh.
maybe i should jsut go for a nice 11k s2k lol
In this sense, I would go for the s2000. You'll have to pull a home equity loan to pay for repairs on the bimmer. Especially if its a track car.

Karim, I was looking at used Lexus IS-F last night. Pricing looks about low to mid 40's. Even on a IS-F forum now after this thread, lol.

Hi. I was instructed to make my way to the intro thread lol.

I'm Clint, I'm in the navy, I live in Corpus Christi. My car is mostly stock but that should be fixed within the next few months...

I have a web based company where I sell aftermarket parts for imports. I won't give the name out on the board just so I won't break any advertising rules, but I hook people up pretty good. If you're interested send me a pm.

And I really don't wanna sound like I'm advertising, I've been on s2ki for a while now, so thats not my purpose here.

Welcome Clint, no need to be jealous. If you want, go ahead and list your business in the local shop directory link. Enjoy chatting it up and hanging around. Everyone is pretty friendly around here.

Will do. Thanks. Yeah Texas is definitely one of the nicest states ever, I'm from Canton Tx which is outside of Dallas and I must say it's nice to be back.
