She goes to TWU and is in their fast track program. She started last June and will be done in 3 weeks with a Bachelor of Science Registered Nurse (BSRN) degree. There were only 30 in the program when it started and only 18 in it now. If you know someone in the program, I can guarantee you they know each other.
Well I plan on going there in the fall for the generic program its like 2 years. She must be really smart, they're freaking cut off GPA this year is 3.8 I believe. Even though my gpa is up there I don't think I'll get accepted. I applied to other various schools in Houston too.

Were nursing programs always this difficult to get into? If you are smart enough to carry a 3.8 GPA throughout your BS, why not go all the way and get your Doctorate?

I don't think im that motivated , and nursing is just competitive these days, it also depends on the school as well. Some schools have lower requirements but eh..everyone wants to go to TexasWomensUniversity or University of Texas.

You'll end up spending more time paying back school loans and the schooling is arduous.

While if you are out making money as a nurse already. You can always be a nurse practitioner which is around 75k or so. Can do pretty much what doctors do except write a prescription.
